In view of the current and pending policy changes by the ACT Government in relation to the Taxi Industry is for the ACT Government to buy back your perpetual taxi plate. Is this really an option considering that they will say buyback will be based on current market value which has been manipulated by the government – now close to $20K (2022) ? Not at this price! Why does the ACT government continue to be in direct competition with plate owners considering they are in the same market space?
