Its all about  Mums and Dads purchasing their taxi licences in good faith borrowing against the value of their house. Some now have a $600,000 debt.

Bottom Line

Emotional and financial stresses faced by Australian taxi owners have been exacerbated by the lack of any proper financial compensation by any State Government. An unnecessary and preventable tragedy.
